Elevating Vitality: Self-Actions for Managing Chronic Conditions and Autoimmune Diseases

The Importance of Raising Vitality for Health

A healthy body has a high level of vitality, which means it has an abundance of life energy. Conversely, a body that is sick or prone to diseases has low life energy. Studies show that when the body experiences stress, the immune system can become compromised.

Therefore, if we are dealing with a health problem or illness, the first thing we want to do is raise our vitality—the life energy in our body. As this energy rises, it continues to increase and positively affects more areas of our health.

However, when our energy decreases, it creates a slippery slope: lower energy levels weaken us and can lead to disease.

Let’s step back and understand what vitality is and why it’s important.

In my book “Becoming Soulful: Six Keys for Profound Transformation in Your Therapy, Coaching, or Healing Practice,” Chapter 5 on Vitality, I explain life-force energy and vitality:

“All of existence is energy. Every thought, feeling, and action we experience is a form of energy. Our bodies are made up of energy that vibrates at specific frequencies, making us alive and connected. When our body’s energetic system is disrupted, physical symptoms can appear and affect our overall well-being. Life-force energy is believed to be the energy that flows through all living things, and it can be measured in humans and animals by their overall vitality.

Our bodies are constantly absorbing and releasing energy. When we are depleted or lacking life-force, it can manifest in physical symptoms such as fatigue, illness, or even depression. By recognizing when we are running low on life-force and taking proactive steps to restore balance, we can prevent further depletion and create a healthier version of ourselves.

Life-force energy is vital to our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. However, many of us may unknowingly leak our life-force energy, resulting in various imbalances and illnesses.”
