Well you guys asked for more recipes on the blog and I am having a LOT of fun over here! đ Today, we made some delicious Halloween marshmallow pops (with edible sticks!) Itâs a fun treat and super SIMPLE to make!
DIY Homemade Halloween Marshmallow Pops
Ingredients
- 10 Large Marshmallows (the fluffy ones; think Michelle in Full House fluffy! Did you see that episode?)
- 10 Wilton Candy Sticks  (be sure to get the thicker candy sticks; the thin ones wonât hold the weight of the marshmallow and chocolate)
- 12 oz. Wilton Dark Chocolate Candy Melts
- Halloween Sprinkles
- 1-2 Short cups/mugs to stand the marshmallows in after dipping
- Halloween themed M&Mâs or chocolate candies to use in a clear cup for display purposes (optional).
Directions:
Step 1: Insert one candy stick into the base of each marshmallow and set aside.
Step 2: In a microwave safe dish, heat the dark chocolate candy melts in 30 second increments. Stir every 30 seconds until melted. My microwave took about 2 ½ â 3 minutes (or you could use a double boiler). Let cool 3-4 minutes before dipping your marshmallows.
Step 3: Dip each marshmallow one at a time in the chocolate. Use a small spoon to help with completely covering the marshmallows in chocolate when doing the chocolate covered marshmallows part, then let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
Step 4: Sprinkle the marshmallow with the Halloween sprinkles before the chocolate sets and stand the marshmallow up in the cup/mug.
Step 5: Repeat steps #3 and #4 with all the marshmallows. Once all the Halloween marshmallow lollies are dipped and sprinkled place the mugs in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
If not serving immediately store in a cool, dry area so the chocolate does not melt.
*Makes 10 servings. 1 marshmallow = 1 serving.
