A content creator has gone viral after speaking up about some people not having ‘basic courtesy’ when reaching out to content creators or influencers, though his virality has sparked opposing opinions online.
In his Facebook post, Jasper Amorin uploaded a screenshot of a message from a student who intended to invite him to be a part of their case study. What was meant to be a ‘simple’ invitation turned into a ‘lecture’ for all students currently working on case studies, thesis projects, and more.
Amorin expressed that there is no need for any ‘formal’ or ‘professional’ way of speaking; instead, he would prefer a simpler yet more polite greeting. Moreover, he urged social media users to understand that this is not about ‘entitlement,’ but rather about showing little courtesy in any action we take when reaching out or speaking out to an individual.
With that, social media users also expressed their thoughts via the comments section of the post. From one opinion to another, this topic sure has made social media users escalate their perspectives even more.
While Amorin intended to educate, many people still questioned whether the call-out was necessary.
