However, what truly sets this model apart is its modularity through the Magic Bay ecosystem—a series of attachable AI-powered accessories that redefine multitasking and productivity.
With the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6, Lenovo aims to redefine AI-enhanced computing. Equipped with a discrete Neural Processing Unit (NPU), it offloads AI-related tasks, allowing the NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU to focus on more complex operations like real-time 3D rendering, modeling, and visualization of intricate designs. The Magic Bay Dual Display Concept is an attachable dual 13.3-inch screen that connects to the ThinkBook 16p via the dock. It turns the laptop into a triple-screen workstation, providing an extended canvas for working on data visualization, content editing, or collaborative projects. This add-on allows users to manage multiple applications side-by-side without needing an external monitor, making it an excellent tool for traveling multitaskers like me. I cannot wait to get one!

Magic Bay 2nd Display Concept: An AI Dashboard on the Go
The Magic Bay 2nd Display Concept offers an 8-inch attachable screen that serves as a dedicated AI dashboard. This compact display provides quick access to essential tools, messaging apps, and AI-generated insights, ensuring that key information is always within reach.
The AI dashboard can be customized to display widgets like to-do lists, notifications, and performance metrics, allowing users to stay organized and informed. Its small footprint makes it ideal for mobile professionals who need to maximize productivity without being tethered to a desk.
Magic Bay Tiko Pro Concept: A Smart Assistant

Lenovo’s Magic Bay Tiko Pro is another standout concept. It features a slim, horizontally oriented display that attaches magnetically to the top of the ThinkBook 16p’s screen. Designed as an always-on assistant interface, Tiko Pro integrates with Lenovo AI Now, offering real-time widget displays to streamline information management.
Tiko Pro provides direct visual access to customizable functionalities, including to-do lists, timers, and dashboards. Additionally, it turns into a teleprompter during presentations, displaying notes directly in the user’s line of sight above the main display where the presentation is shown. Tiko Pro enables widgets and tool personalization to tailor the workspace for specific tasks and workflows.

Magic Bay Tiko Concept: AI with a Personality

The Magic Bay Tiko Concept takes a more playful approach to AI integration. Tiko is designed as an AI emotional interaction companion, featuring a compact, circular screen that attaches to the top of the laptop display. This device not only displays real-time, emoji-style status updates but also responds to voice commands and gestures—such as a thumbs-up or a heart—adding a layer of personalized interaction.
Users can mute the Tiko companion’s audio with a simple “shush” gesture. Additionally, it can display emojis, generate information, and even play games, making it a versatile companion for users looking for productivity while having fun. An API connector further expands Tiko’s capabilities, allowing developers and users to create custom features and integrations.
During our meeting at MWC, Lenovo’s spokesperson emphasized Tiko’s potential for customization and user interaction, underscoring its role as a personalized assistant that adapts to individual preferences.
