Robert De Niro’s political thriller miniseries Zero Day claimed the top spot of the most-watched streaming title for the week of Feb. 17, 2025, according to Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings.
The Netflix drama about a former President of the United States given vast powers to investigate an unprecedented cyberterrorist attack on American soil captured 1.839 billion viewing minutes.
Looking at the numbers, 63% of Zero Day’s watch time belonged to the Adults 50+ demo, with the D.C. thriller’s audience led by Hispanic viewers at 21% and Black viewers at 16%.
Sweet Magnolias, the previous week’s champ, fell out of the Overall Top 10. However, Netflix still managed to have six titles in the chart: four original titles, and the remaining two shared streaming distribution rights with other streaming services.
Amazon’s Prime Video landed in second place with the premier of the third season of the original series Reacher, which had 1.806 billion viewing minutes. Reacher was Prime Video’s only entrant in the chart, but this was the series’ second-best weekly performance ever, with its Season 1 debut topping it with 1.843 billion minutes viewed the week of Jan. 31, 2022.
Also in the top five was the Netflix reality dating series Love Is Blind, which improved on its previous week’s position, moving up one spot to land at No. 3 with 1.421 billion viewing minutes.
Disney+’s Bluey landed in fourth place with 1.053 billion minutes viewed, followed by Family Guy re-airs, which gave Hulu 1.010 billion viewing minutes.
Last week’s second-placed title, Cobra Kai, dropped to sixth place with 893 million viewing minutes. Peacock made an appearance in the chart, courtesy of SNL50: The Anniversary Special, which had 863 million viewing minutes. This was Saturday Night Live’s first-ever Top 10 appearance.
American Murder: Gabby Petito is the final original title and Netflix’s second miniseries in the top 10, taking the eighth spot with 801 million viewing minutes.
