CSK DJ trolls Jitesh Sharma by playing ‘Dosa, Sambar, Chutney’ song after his dismissal, mocking his earlier comments about Chennai team.
Jitesh Sharma had to taste his own medicine. After the wicketkeeper-batter was dismissed in the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the DJ at the MA Chidambaram Stadium trolled him.
Jitesh Sharma’s “Dosa, Idly, Sambar, Chutney” connection
In a recent video, Jitesh Sharma was asked what came to his mind when he heard “CSK.” He responded by singing the viral meme song, Dosa, Idly, Sambar, Chutney Chutney, which has often been used on social media to mock people from South India.
It seems the CSK DJ took note of his remarks. After Jitesh was dismissed in the match, the DJ playfully trolled him by playing the same Dosa, Idly, Sambar song as he walked back to the pavilion, adding a humorous twist to his exit.
Jitesh Sharma’s viral video
In a viral video ahead of the match, RCB players were asked about their thoughts on the people of Chennai. While most shared positive remarks, wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma appeared to mimic the South Indian accent in a playful yet mocking manner.
The song Dosa, Idli, Sambar, Chutney, originally released in 2022, gained widespread popularity this year. Jitesh referenced the song while speaking about Chennai fans, seemingly imitating the South Indian tone, which was perceived by many as a mockery.
