Bad luck for Ishan Kishan?

Ishan Kishan’s chances of regaining his BCCI central contract appear slim, according to a BCCI official. Kishan has not played international cricket since October 2023 and his domestic form has been underwhelming, with a T20 average of 28.04 since 2024. In contrast, Shreyas Iyer has impressed in ICC tournaments and is likely to be reinstated in the central contract list. Rishabh Pant is facing immense pressure due to his awefule performance in IPL 2025. After being bought by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for a record-breaking ₹27 crore, Pant has failed to live up to expectations, scoring a mere 17 runs in his first three games. The wicketkeeper-batter was entrusted with leading the team, replacing KL Rahul, but his poor form has led to fans trolling him on social media. Virat Kohli wants to play ODI World Cup 2027

Virat Kohli has set his sights on winning the 2027 ODI World Cup, his next major goal after the Champions Trophy victory. Despite facing heartbreaking losses in previous World Cups, Kohli is determined to add another trophy to his cabinet. He has no plans to retire from the 50-over format, having already announced his retirement from T20Is. Ignorant CSK management for IPL 2025

A Chennai Super Kings (CSK) scout has revealed that his suggestions to pick uncapped players Vipraj Nigam and Aniket Verma in the IPL 2025 auction were ignored by the team management. The scout, Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan, had identified these players after watching them in domestic leagues. Meanwhile, CSK’s auction picks, Rahul Tripathi and Deepak Hooda, have failed to deliver. In contrast, Vipraj (DC) and Aniket (SRH) have impressed in the initial phase of IPL 2025. Fascinatingly, the video was uploaded on CSK player Ravichandran Ashwin’s YouTube channel before the it was deleted on Tuesday. Read more here.
