In contrast, Shreyas Iyer has impressed in ICC tournaments and is likely to be reinstated in the central contract list. A Chennai Super Kings (CSK) scout has revealed that his suggestions to pick uncapped players Vipraj Nigam and Aniket Verma in the IPL 2025 auction were ignored by the team management. The scout, Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan, had identified these players after watching them in domestic leagues. Meanwhile, CSK’s auction picks, Rahul Tripathi and Deepak Hooda, have failed to deliver.
